Skyping overseas students
In 2015 BFCC was connected to the Internet which enabled the children of BFCC to communicate with students from around the world including Latvia, Poland, Bolivia, and of course, Australia. This was through a program called EPals. We managed to speak to a class in Poland, but in most cases the time zones were too different for classes to see each other. It was a big thrill to be able to speak to someone in another country. EPals did help us learn new computer skills to communicate and we saw some interesting classes in the different countries.
