Many of our children have links with the Solukhumbu area of Nepal, so it was a logical step to provide help in that region. Netra’s family lives in Kangel which makes progress reporting about the projects easier. We are working with an area in the Solukhumbu to help the six schools improve facilities and education. Education is important to prepare young people who want to go overseas to earn a living and to protect them. There are 6 schools in Kangel. It is called a village, but is really a district and the return journey to the most remote takes more than a day. Class size ranges from 10 to 310 students.
