Art and Craft develops creativity
Every year tourists (usually Sue McElhinney and Liz Dobson) visit Nepal and run a holiday program during the Dashain/Tihar break. Trekkers are very welcome to visit and give the children a chance to practise their English. It is a great chance for the children to be creative and they love these programs. Everyone is welcome to participate in this program and teach or demonstrate a game or skill. It can be something simple for just a couple of hours or it can be a much longer activity. Football, photography, dancing, music or singing are some activities which are not taught in schools.
